Synchronization

The synchronization module allwos you to track your project times, even if you are not connected to the main database in your office.

The user saves the project times into the locally installed Microsoft Access database, which is included in the XTInstEN.exe setup. It's also possible to stop the times with Xpert-Timer on a U3-USB-Stick.

As soon as you are connected to the main database in your office again, you can call the function to synchronize the data in Xpert-Timer.

In order to synchronize correctly your Xpert-Timer administrator needs to create a sychronization file. This file is linked to the user and includes the id and the connection information to the main database. This file must be created on a client directly connected to the main database. Then the file needs to be saved on the laptop or the U3-Stick and must be activated there. Further information about the installation can be found in the manual.
